Dr. Julius C. Manrique Scholarship

Available to native-born residents of the city of Oakdale, CA who have completed Elementary, Junior, and High School in Oakdale. Preference will be given to students of Mexican-American heritage, but others will be considered based on the applicant pool. The awardee must plan to become a teacher, principal, or professor, demonstrate financial need, and plan to attend a public university of community college continuously for four years. The applicant must hafve earned a GPA between 3.5 and 4.0 during high school and throughout college years earn a GPA between 3.0 to 4.0 to receive annual scholarship funds.
